Round rivet nuts are a specialized form of blind fasteners used to embed a threaded insert within slender sheet materials. These fasteners are characterized by a round body housing a threaded insert. During installation, the body is fitted into a hole in the material and then expanded using a special tool, causing the body of the rivet nut to widen and forge a robust, lasting connection.
