Female ball studs are a spring catch style fastener and ideal for applications where repeated engagement and disengagement are required. These are a popular choice for electrical panels, access doors, cabinet doors and other sheet metal enclosures. Different tensions with the same stud can be achieved depending on the Ball-Stud Speed Clip* chosen. The hex shape allows for greater torquing as the flat sides allow for wrench tightening. Multiple plating options are available to increase the material's corrosion resistance and alter its appearance.
