Round rivet nuts are used for establishing threaded inserts in thin sheet materials. Frequently applied in sectors such as automotive, furniture, and appliances, they are ideal when only one side of the material can be accessed. These rivet nuts possess a round body with a threaded insert. Once the body is slotted into a hole in the material, it's expanded using a dedicated rivet nut tool. This action causes the rivet nut's body to enlarge, forming a durable and permanent bond.
