Self-clinching studs, concealed head studs are a type of stud that is designed to provide a concealed finish when installed. The stud has a small, countersunk head that is crimped into a hole that is slightly larger than the head of the stud. This makes it possible to install the stud without creating a protrusion on the surface of the material, but the head of the stud will be slightly recessed. Self-clinching studs, concealed head studs are typically made of steel or stainless steel and are available in a variety of sizes and finishes.
