Female-female standoffs are used to separate, position or connect components in an assembly. Originally designed for spacing and stacking circuit boards, standoffs are now available in a wide variety of materials, platings, threads, and length combinations for different applications. Material options include:

  • Aluminum
  • Brass
  • Nylon
  • Stainless Steel
  • Steel

The hex shape allows for greater torquing as the flat sides allow for wrench tightening. Aluminum is widely used in Aerospace applications due to its high strength to weight properties. RoHS certifications available.
